ASCEND

Founded in Pittsburgh in 2011 by climbers Alex Bernstein, Paul Guarino, and Aaron, ASCEND is a locally funded climbing-gym company serving western Pennsylvania through facilities in Pittsburgh and Erie. Its gyms combine indoor climbing with yoga, fitness, youth programs, and community events, with an explicit focus on accessibility and inclusive participation.
